2nd Annual Run 4 Freedom

Run 4 Freedom is a family friendly event that includes a race distance for all ages: the Run 4 Freedom 4-mile race for youth, adults, and senior sneakers on a scenic course through John Prince Park and the Cupcake Dash for 7 and under. After the race there will be food, music, local vendors, and other activities in John Prince Park for everyone to enjoy.

Race Day Info

RACE LOCATION
John Prince Park, 4759 South Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, FL

PACKET PICK-UP
Early Packet Pickup at Fit2Run in Wellington Monday July 2 from 4:30PM to 7:00PM

Race Day packet pick up begins at 6AM at race site and ends promptly at 7AM. Please plan accordingly.

RACE START TIMES
4 Mile Race: 7:15AM
Kid’s Cupcake Dash: 8:30AM (wave start according to age)

PARKING
Enter John Prince Park from Congress Avenue. The race site is located by the Center Drive Pavilion. There will be plenty of signage from the Congress Avenue entrance to direct you to the race area. Please allow yourself extra time prior to the start of the race.

COURSE
The 4-mile course is marked with numerous arrow turn signs.

WATER STOPS
There will be two water stops on the course.

FINISH TIMES
AccuChip Race Timing Services is doing the timing for the race. Finish times will be posted at the gazebo. The times will be posted online after the finish of the race at www.accuchiptiming.com

AWARDS
For the 4 mile race, awards will be presented to the First, Second and Third Overall Male/Female, Master Male/Female and Grandmaster Male/Female winners. Overall awards will be presented at the gazebo at 8:20AM. In addition there are age group award ribbons, male & female, 3 deep, in the following groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 & 75-79.

SHIRTS
Shirts guaranteed to the first 450 registrations. We will make every attempt to make sure you receive the size you requested. There will be no exchanges at packet pickup. Shirt exchanges and left race shirts for those who registered late will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the information table after the race (blue tent).

IT WILL BE HOT ON RACE DAY! STAY HYDRATED BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE RUN

There will be water at the start/finish line and on the course, but please consider carrying an extra water bottle. Slow down.
